Listed below are the supplies that will be needed for this school year. The supplies are used by the entire class so there is no need to label supplies unless you would like the class to know who sent them in. We go through all of these supplies through the school year as our kindergarten classroom is a hands-on, play-based learning environment.
This year, I will be doing very specific individual portfolios which will require each student to have a 1" binder (with clear front cover overlay). These portfolios will be filled with your child's best work including photographs, documentation of conversations, student and teacher reflections, assessments and art work.
Personal Items Required:
1 large, labelled backpack (make sure your child can pack it).
1 pair of indoor running shoes (non-marking soles).
1 labelled lunch bag (send healthy snack and lunches - litterless snack and lunches preferred!)
1 change of clothing (kept in a labelled ziploc baggie at the bottom of the backpack).
School Supply Items Required:
1" white binder with clear overaly
2 large glue sticks (please do not buy "Dollarama" glue sticks as they often are dried out when I open the package).
1 box of crayons
1 box of crayola style markers (if you can get the 10 packs it helps as we have 10 colours in our marker blocks and are always running out of grey and pink markers).
1 bottle of white glue
1 container of play-doh (available at Dollarama).
1 box of large ziploc baggies (SK)
1 box of small ziploc baggies (JK)
